Q: Who do I contact if I have a question?

Q: Can I have my hearing aids sent directly to me?
A: The reason we have your hearing aid sent directly to your hearing specialist is because we have a legal obligation to the hearing aid manufacturers to ensure that your hearing aid is fit professionally.  For this reason, we insist in the hearing aid being sent to the hearing specialist.

Q: What if I am unhappy with my new hearing aid?
A: You can return your hearing aid for a full money-back guarantee within 30 days of purchase, provided that the device is still in working order.

Q: What is included in the cost of the hearing aid?
A: Every hearing aid purchase from Economy Hearing includes the following:

  • Free hearing test
  • Professional hearing aid fitting
  • Full hearing rehabilitation programme (usually undertaken over 6 weeks)
  • 1 year of free batteries (with devices using replaceable batteries)
  • Free express post to your nearest hearing clinic

Q: Who will be fitting my hearing aid?
A: We only work with hearing clinics who are manufacturer-preferred, and who meet the high-level hearing care standards set out by the Australian Government.  We request that the hearing clinic signs a Service Level Agreement, to ensure that our customers receive the highest quality of care.

Q: Can I request a refund?
A: Yes.  Your satisfaction us our number one priority.  As long as your hearing aid(s) are in their original condition, we will provide you with a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you are unhappy with the results.

Q: Why are these hearing aids so cheap?
A: By operating purely online, we don’t have any of the usual costs associated with running a hearing clinic.  We also have large buying-power with manufacturers, which mean we secure hearing aids at the lowest possible price, and pass the savings on to you.

Q: Does Economy Hearing have a clinic in my town?
A: Economy Hearing don’t operate any physical hearing clinics.  This is how we are able to keep our costs down, and pass the savings on to you.  Instead, we have an established network of high-quality hearing clinics across Australia, who have partnered with us, and who will support your hearing rehabilitation in conjunction with Economy Hearing.  We will work with you to ensure that our partner clinic is in a convenient location for you – wherever you are.

Q: Why does Economy Hearing only stock certain brands?
A: Economy Hearing is run by hearing specialists, and we have chosen to stock what we believe to be the best brands available today.  We do not have any alliances with any manufacturers, so we will not try to promote one product over another.
